At the conclusion of each weekend or week long immersion or certification, each attendee will have learned how to:

  • Perform a full-body, 60- or 90-minute Thai Massage session on a floor mat and a massage table.
  • Incorporate the fundamentals of effortless, flowing transition between postures, resulting in a more satisfying massage experience for clients, and a less strenuous session for the practitioner.
  • Understand the application of safety precautions for preventing injury.
  • Explore ways to integrate Thai Massage into a classic oil massage on the table (including Thai foot reflexology, "marma" point therapy, and "sen" energy lines).
  • Integrate key stances with Thai Massage and explore how to effectively use your body, maximizing the flow of energy within yourself, and between yourself and your client.
  • Incorporate fundamental methods for working with client contraindications.
  • Perform a client intake specific to Thai Massage applications.
  • Have a basic knowledge of the philosophy of Thai Massage, including the use of "metta" or loving-kindess as a methodology (direct transmission as well as "shielding”).
